Gallery

Gallery history
The Gallery has been open since 2002 and has gradually grown into the Gallery you see today. It has not been an easy journey, especially following the Tsunami and more recently the heavy monsoon rains in 2011, that caused the Gallery roof to collapse. These events just make us more determined to succeed and we think the Gallery is now looking better than ever and showcases just what can achieved if you believe in what you’re doing. We hope you agree.

Shoba Gallery, in Galle Fort, south west Sri Lanka is proud to sell a range of beautiful products and crafts that have been made by local women who participate in our livelihoods projects. A selection of these products are displayed below, but this is only a fraction of what we have to offer and so if you are in Galle or planning a trip, do come along and take a look.

If you have seen something online or in our shop that you would like to buy, do please email us  and we will do our best to arrange payment and delivery. Alternatively if you have a special request for a particular item, our talented women would be more than happy to make you a unique product, especially for you.
